I have seen all of the episodes over time, but I have never       watched the entire series beginning to end before. Certainly this       effort will become one of the major afs-m icons right alongside the       Otaku Wars.              >At the beginning of the series I said that my preference for the       >seasons went Stars>S>Classic>SuperS>R. I would now say       >that the ordering goes Stars>S>Supers=R>Classic (a tie between SS and       >R, in other words).              I would have to say that my preference for the seasons has remained       somewhat the same. Stars=SuperS>Super>Classic>R, but there is not a       whole lot of difference between the top and bottom of the list. The       last two episodes of Classic were incredibly moving to me as well as       episode 200. My least favorite was the Ann and Ail arc.              I have now watched all of Sailor Moon in most of its various NA       interpretations. The English dub broadcast of the original 65 episodes       with the out of order Doom Tree arc; The 17 "lost" episodes when they       completed R; The broadcast version of Super and SuperS; The VKLL       fansubs, the RM fansubs, all of the movies both subtitled and dubbed,       all of the specials and even the short-lived Super fanDUB starring       some of our own afs-m members. The only thing that had been missing       was watching the unedited Super and SuperS dub releases and now I have       completed that as well.              >I still haven't watched the movies and specials. I'm pretty tired of       >Sailor Moon at this point so I'm not going to do that immediately, but       >once I get back from break I might consider it. I'm also considering       >doing this with a few other series -- Utena and Monster are the two       >that are foremost in my mind for candidates.              I don't have those series, so I will have to beg off. However, I'm       still interested in watching PGSM. To that effect, check out my next       post.              In closing, this has been a great time. It has reminded me all over       again just why I love this series and what makes it so different from       so many other offerings out there.              Thanks again, Chris.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
