While it was a little long, it was still better than just giving her one
quick "see, we really did love you" moment and having her switch back.
I would have preferred less Death Phantom in those moments. Him turning
her back was getting old. I think it would have been better if it just
required more discussion to get her to let go of the dark illusion, it
makes the length of time she spent as Black Lady make a bit more sense
to me. But still, it was a lot better done than I expected it to be,
although a bit rough around the edges (ala the Sisters changing sides).

I can't say I've been disappointed with the battle music in this season.
     Very nicely done.

At certain angles, she appeared to be a smidge bit taller than Rei,
although I didn't notice her being taller than Minako. It looks like
Makoto didn't grow at all, and rather all of the others caught up with
her or something. I guess she just hit her growth spurts faster than
the others, rather than just being too extremely tall in general (either
that, or all the girls end up being pretty tall when all is said and done?)

I really liked this theory. It had been bothering me for quite sometime
   as to *why* it disappeared.

Anyway, overall, I quite liked this season--not for the story though.
Neither of the major story arcs (Ail and Ann, Black Moon) caught my
interest, but I really loved a lot of the filler episodes. They did a
nice job with focusing on the girls other than Usagi, and it also had a
lot of Ami-Mako moments, which always makes me happy. For the time
being, my preference is going something like Stars > R=Classic >S >
SuperS, but we shall see how that changes as SK and I continue working
   our way forward.
