   For some reason, I'd convinced myself they'd just made some sort of   
   casing for the mini-cds, and that they were virtually the same thing.  I   
   just don't keep up with technology.   
      
   However, I *do* know I've seen them used in other anime (Beck jumps to   
   mind), so there does appear to be a stronger prevelance in Japan, at   
   least in the early 2000s.
