|    51 Days of PGSM - Act 4    |

From: phoenix@mediaone.net              Act 4 - Sneaking into the Party!              Nephrite makes his debut when Queen Beryl grows tired of Jadeite's       failures.              This episode appears to be an adaptation of episode 22 of the animated       series where this bespectacled princess unveils her own diamond       treasure.              There are many common elements between the two:              - The senshi (Usagi, Ami and Rei), TK and Nephrite all converge on the       party to lay their claim on the prize.       - They are in disguise... sortof (Ami dressed as a catgirl maid. Go       Ami!)       - Although they don't exactly dance, Usagi and Mamoru do make a       connection on the dance floor.       - The diamond girl is possessed by Nephrite.       - Sailor Moon falls over the rail, Tuxie grabs her hand, but then they       both fall. However, instead of an umbrella, this time the moon stick       starts to glow and gently lowers them to the ground. There is no kiss,       but there is some really great chemistry between the two of them.       - TK is questioned as to his loyalties and he suggests that they could       be enemies.              The friendship between the girls continues to grow but Rei still       doesn't like karaoke. It seems that Rei initially rejected their       friendship because she had been hurt and possibly abandoned in the       past. She doesn't wish to risk another heartbreak. But few can resist       Usagi's charms.              I enjoyed their three-way ballet-fu combat against the youma.              Names used:       Usagi -> Ami-chan and Rei-chan (no surprise there)              Rei -> Tsukino-san and Mizuno-san (also no surprise)              Ami -> Tsukino-san and Rei-san (What!? Usagi, who is all over Ami with       friendly advances is still on a last name basis, but the cold, remote       Rei is called by her first name?) However, there might be a good       reason for this. I don't think Rei's last name has been scripted yet,       so the girls could not use it without causing confusion.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
