   Not a ton to say on this one.  Ami's costume was just bizarre   
   (nekomimi-Ami?) and I haven't figured out *why* Usagi would pick such a   
   costume, when she was trying on those period dresses (at leas they   
   looked like they were trying to imitate a very old style...I know   
   nothing about fashion).  Stick on a mask with it, and they still could   
   have pulled off the Mamoru-Usagi dancefloor scene.  As long as she   
   didn't have the pigtails (which she didn't when she was trying on the   
   dresses anyway...)  But with a mask, we would haven't been able to see   
   the incredibly cute hearts in her eyes as she holds on Tuxy.  That was   
   such a nice touch.  Really pulled in the anime-Usagi without making it   
   too flashy or silly.  And without the costume, we couldn't see the look   
   on Rei's face when Usagi got stuck in it.  Rei had a lot of priceless   
   expressions in this one (including the "I'm going to be sick" look of   
   relief she has when Usagi quits falling).  Oh and the look of mild   
   embarrassment she had when she cheered "We did it" when they managed to   
   win.  So sweet!   
      
   Anyway, the next two episodes are two of my absolute favorites (I think   
   6 is the one that I think that it is...), and especially the next one   
   gets the waterworks going for me.  Although both of them do...   
      
   I really like Rei's character in this series.  I will admit, it is   
   because of PGSM that I gave Rei a second chance during the 200 Days of   
   Sailor Moon.  I like the anime character a lot better now.  All it took   
   was being able to find a likeable character in one of the   
   versions--specifically one that I could not in anyway think of as "Raye".   
      
   That's it for me.  SK might catch up in a few days, he might just pick   
   up wherever I'm at. I'm fairly certain he'll be watching with me   
   tomorrow though, as the next couple of episodes are some of his   
   favorites too.
