   That did strike me as a odd question and I think you are right about   
   there being something more to this. Motoki is certainly the wrong   
   person to ask about anything as deep as that however. What a pitiful   
   role he has been given in this version. But then, I suppose that's the   
   only way to explain why he doesn't notice that the girls are no where   
   to be seen once they pass his desk.
