   Agreed.  I cracked up so hard in this episode, especially watching Rei's   
   facial expressions as she deals with Takae, the dud date.  Moreover, I   
   really enjoyed Makoto's antics throughout.  As "boyish" as she thinks   
   she is, she truly does understand the hearts of girls.  First, she   
   immediately picks up on Usagi's desire to be with Motoki and switches   
   with her (getting cutie Mamoru for herself), and then she "accidentally"   
   bumps Motoki straight into the maze.  Of course, at the end we get to   
   see her argue with Rei over the necessity of love...it almost feels like   
   those two are going to get the "arguing sisters" role that was given to   
   Rei-Usagi in the anime.  I rather like the change.   
      
   Another part I loved was when Makoto was rowing the boat.  She's beaming   
   so brightly (clearly she has some pride in her own strength), and I   
   rather like Mamoru's kind of surprise over it all.  Oh, and Makoto and   
   Rei looked so impeccably stylish and attractive.  I love it when Makoto   
   has her hair down, that ponytail isn't particularly becoming (nor is   
   Usagi's odango--she's gorgeous when they've shown her in different   
   hairstyles in early episodes though).

   I really like that Sailor Moon actually learned from that earlier   
   attack.  She's much more clever in PGSM than she was in the anime.   
   Those two made a very good pair today.

   However...   
      
   In a later episode, I'm pretty sure we see Minako with her Sailor V   
   costume in a bag/suitcase.  So it might be that he does henshin, but   
   also has the ability to remove the costume itself, in the same way that   
   Minako did with her Sailor V costume.

   The rivalry between Jadeite and Nephrite seems to be heating up, and   
   Nephrite's none to pleased about Zoisite's abrupt entrance to the game.   
     I really enjoy the changes they made to Z's character.  He's rather   
   intriguing in PGSM.  That, and he has a cool wig.

   I really like that TK knows who Sailor Moon is, but she doesn't know who   
   he is.  I also like that he gets to know for so long before she finds   
   out his identity.  It adds a very interesting twist to the story.  And   
   it's nice that they didn't have to do the old "Well, actually, I'm   
   Sailor Moon" thing they did back in Classic.   
      
   Some closing thoughts:   
      
   Ami is not in this episode.  If memory serves me, Ami is barely in any   
   of the next several episodes.  They say it's because she is   
   'researching' Sailor V, but I've always wondered if perhaps Hama Chisaki   
   was ill briefly during the filming of the series?  When Ami does return,   
   I noticed she has really dark circles under her eyes... While that may   
   be explained by "heavy researching" I still can't help but think   
   something in the real world had to explain why she pretty much   
   disappears.  That, and it seems Chisaki is the member of the PGSM group   
   that truly disappears after the show is over.  While Keiko and Ayaka are   
   the ones who really moved up, at least Miyuu and Mew continued to do a   
   lot of the PGSM-related stuff (like the Dance Lesson).  Chisaki just   
   seems to have disappeared, and other groups I'm in seem to indicate that   
   it's a little more difficult to get news about her (ie. there were   
   pictures from Mew's blog where she talked about getting together with   
   Chisaki in Kyoto, and there was a fuss that perhaps the second hand in   
   one of the pictures was Chisaki...which seemed odd to make a big deal   
   out of).   
      
   Preview for next episode makes me happy, because, and you knew it was   
   coming, it's one of my favorites!  I really love the upcoming   
   interaction between Rei and Makoto. ^_^
