You think Usagi could survive more than 3 minutes alone without being
bored to tears? Besides, she wants someone to listen to her
laments--although less face it, *none* of her friends are great for that
sort of thing: there has been no established father figure in Naru's
life and her mother clearly works a lot; Ami's mother is definitely
overworked, never at home, and father isn't in the picture; Rei's mom's
dead and her dad is a jerk workaholic; Makoto doesn't have any family at
all. Definitely not the people I'd want to go crying to with tales of
"My mom's so mean! She made it plain when i wanted cheese!" Although
with a cruddy reason like that for a fight, I wouldn't want to tell
anyone for being ashamed of my immaturity.

But still, it makes sense Usagi wouldn't want to be alone--and she
wouldn't want to be near Mamoru, she knows he'd make fun of her.

That was just AWFUL, expecially the swaying thing. Doesn't help that I
just watched "Little Miss Sunshine" and realized some of the same
(terrible) moves were used there too (particularly the sway thing).
   *shudder* That just wasn't right.

They looked a bit more graceful, but at the same time, a lot more out of
   control.

Okay, so Ami goes to the library sans glasses. At the library, I can't
remember if she had them on. But at the play that evening she's wearing
them again. What's up with that? I mean, I know I'm dwelling on
something pretty random, but when they put so much focus on the darn
things early on (and in the previous episode), I can't help but wonder
if there isn't supposed to be some sort of meaning?
