   You have no idea how badly that comment cracked up SK. ^^;;

On a similar note to what you said about Ayaka, in Mew's Pinspot she
talked about how hard it was for her because she was playing such an
"athletic" character, and she's not at all an athlete. Apparently, even
her mother commented on just how unnatural she looked during certain
athletic scenes (namely, a few towards the end when she wields a large
weapon). Personally, I think she did a great job. Minako's singing in
Act 12 was a bit painful (she wouldn't have made it on American
Idol...), but she really does pull off the talented idol thing
   *incredibly* well.

That's what I think as well. But I also think that Artemis is highly
influencing her, and I'm really not sure why he's working to convince
her that it *must* be that way. Competition with Luna? Frazzled brains
telling him that she really is the princess, and that the princess
shouldn't hang out with non-royals? Creepy mentally abusive kitty complex?

(Also, I'm really not sure if I made it clearly, but "Why does Sailor
Moon get to be free, when she has to fight alone and is always haunted
by her alter ego?" wasn't my view, but rather how I feel she sees the
situation...just realized it might have been misinterpreted and wanted
   to clarify.)

I'm just wondering if I'm going to be able to make myself like Minako
this go around. I really disliked the character the first time I watched...

Agreed. Mamoru is much more clever in this series. It's refreshing
after dealing with anime-Mamoru, aka Swiss Cheese Brain Man.
