   Act 20 - Hina was Mamoru's Fiancee   
      
   With Mars' help, Venus recovers from Nephrite's attack and destroys   
   the tiara letting him know that it was a fake. (I don't see the point   
   of that. She should have let him take it and maybe they would have   
   wasted time trying to make it work) Nephrite disappears, but then we   
   see that Kunzite has been watching and has become quite suspicious of   
   the 'Princess'. He decides that he would like to have a senshi of his   
   own.   
      
   Rei asks Minako why she is trying to get caught. Minako tells Rei that   
   she needs to awaken as a senshi and she would understand. Minako   
   firmly tells Rei that she (Rei) could be the leader of the senshi. Rei   
   takes this as advice that she has to become stronger and learn to   
   fight the youma alone. This emphasizes to Ami that everyone is going   
   off on their own more and more.   
      
   Hikari (from the last episode) visits Usagi and convinces her to go on   
   a double date with her, the boy she likes (Daichi) and Mamoru.   
      
   This next segment is really sweet.   
      
   Mamoru and Daichi are waiting at the bus stop when Usagi and Hikari   
   show up. Makoto secretly follows them disguised with a pair of   
   sunglasses. They arrive at a park and spend a good part of the day   
   simply having fun, playing tag, badminton and finally a picnic. Mamoru   
   compliments Usagi on her food. After a time, Usagi begs for rest on a   
   bench as the two kids race off to continue their play. Mamoru sits   
   down with her and a very romantic atmosphere develops. Usagi is about   
   to present Mamoru with the muffler when the two kids race back, Hina   
   in tow. Usagi is shocked to learn that Mamoru and Hina are engaged and   
   plan to marry after graduation.   
      
   Kunzite is cooking up something to test if the Princess is real. He   
   has been recycling youma, creating illusions all over the city,   
   running Rei ragged. A few show up in the park and Usagi takes that as   
   an excuse to run off.   
      
   Ami has been knitting non-stop all episode and finally finishes. Four   
   pairs of color coordinated mittens for the senshi and a little scarf   
   for Luna. She leaves the secret base and is confronted by Kunzite. She   
   transforms, but her attacks are useless against him. He sends a blast   
   of black rose petals against Mercury, knocking her unconscious.   
      
   Mamoru also takes his leave from Hina and changes into TK planning to   
   help Usagi. But before he can reach her, he is confronted by Makoto   
   who blocks his path and asks him if he is really Mamoru Chiba.   
      
   The episode ends as we see the place where Ami faced Kunzite is now   
   empty except for a few black petals on the ground.
