   Act 22 - Ami Becomes an Enemy   
      
   Ami, after being flooded with dark energy directly from the Queen   
   Metalia entity, has become Dark Mercury, an agent of the Dark Kingdom.   
      
   Although she clearly remembers who she was and who the senshi are, she   
   has been converted to the dark side. Her personality (and to some   
   extent, her appearance) have changed 180 degrees from her former self.   
   In addition, she has crafted herself a powerful ice sword from water.   
   No longer a recluse, she is now a domineering extrovert. Facing Beryl,   
   Mercury arrogantly tells her that she will defeat the senshi and   
   regardless of her conversion, she refuses to be anyone's pawn.   
      
   Makoto, Rei and Usagi individually reflect on how they dismissed Ami's   
   need for unity and deeply regret their actions.   
      
   Mamoru and Hina are eating the dinner that Hina cooked. She asks him   
   if he is really OK with the promise that he made to her father to   
   marry her. Mamoru insists that he will keep his word and starts to   
   think that it would be better if he did not try to regain his memories   
   as it would likely lead him right back to 'her'.   
      
   I suppose that even villains need their education. The next morning,   
   Usagi finds Ami back at school and, for the first time ever, the   
   center of everyone's attention. Ami tells Usagi that she didn't want   
   to miss school, so she brainwashed the other students. She also told   
   her that she doesn't want to fight in school, but Usagi still better   
   keep her guard up. In an ironic twist, Ami is now the center of the   
   lunch crowd and Usagi is relegated to the roof to eat alone with Luna.   
      
   Artemis shows up to give Usagi orders from the Princess that they will   
   have to fight Ami (Is this the first time that Artemis and Luna have   
   met on screen?).   
      
   A youma starts attacking people at an amusement park. The girls   
   respond and chase after it. While they were there, Sailor Moon sees   
   Ami on the carousel where she transforms into Dark Mercury. The youma   
   finally leads them into a dark room where it taunts and mocks them.   
   Mars and Jupiter are attacked by the youma. Before Sailor Moon can   
   come to aid them, Mercury blocks her. Mercury is about to strike   
   Sailor Moon with her ice sword when it is suddenly blocked by Venus's   
   Love Me Chain. They battle, but then Venus collapses and Mercury   
   continues to approach Sailor Moon. SM refuses to attack and transforms   
   back into Usagi. Usagi apologizes to Mercury and thanks her for the   
   mittens. Mercury slashes the mittens in half and taunts Usagi. Usagi   
   starts to cry and a tear falls on her brooch. The brooch lights up and   
   sends out a golden light. Usagi transforms back into Sailor Moon as   
   the light spreads out to touch Mercury and the youma. The youma is   
   instantly destroyed. Mercury starts to turn back to Ami but Kunzite   
   rushes in and sweeps them both away.   
      
   Jupiter notices that the mittens were repaired by the action of the   
   golden light. The senshi start to cry and say that Ami has taught them   
   that they need to stick together. They agree that they will hurry and   
   bring the real Ami back to them.   
      
   In the Dark Kingdom, the last stone starts to glow green. Zoisite is   
   awakening. Mamoru and Hina arrive at his apartment to hear music   
   inside. Mamoru goes inside and sees a ghostly form of Zoisite playing   
   a piano. Zoisite reaches out to Mamoru and calls him Master Endymion.
