You know, I really can't think of a lot to say about this episode. It
was good, but hard to comment on.

Although it wasn't blatantly clear (given how quickly it happened),
Jupiter is the one that managed to protect Moon and Mars from Mercury
for as long as she could hold out. I guess Mercury was getting a bit of
revenge for the "Princess" blowing up Nephrite's glove, because she did
the same to Jupiter. I don't know why, but the blown-up glove with
burn-marks on the skin just always creep me out and make me imagine the
pain. I think there's a reason for it, I just can't remember why.

The first time I watched this episode, I really was surprised that Ami
didn't turn back at the end of the episode. I know that Mamoru was
stuck in 'dark mode' for a long time in Classic, but I just sort of
figured this would be a very momentary event. It's nice to see that
it's not, but at the same time it's just one too many villains for my
taste. Still, Dark Mercury looks great with that make-up. Very cool.

Overall, I thought it was an enjoyable episode. And I'm looking forward
to the next one, with Mars Reiko and all. ^_^
