I'm not sure if we've decided that she is actually a cat. Sometimes she's
just a plushie. Other time she's a... moving plushie. Other than acting
like a cat, have we ever seen her do anything that shows she's actually
   alive?

I think Neko Luna is supposed to be young, or maybe 10,000 in moon cat
years is still young. I don't know. Anyway, having a young human Luna is
   accurate AFAIK.

BTW, the 'old/wise' Luna in the Anime Dub (if you've ever watched it) was
   just wrong for this character

I suppose that if you are a plushie that can henshin into a human who can
eat anything and as much as she wants, then de-henshin without gaining
weight (or getting sick) that might be handy.

Well, yes, but one little detail is missing, Usagi refused to fight back.
In a normal fight she would be weakening the enemy by counter attacking
where she didn't do that with Ami. If SM never made any attacks, heck
even Shingo could beat her eventually.
