I am, in fact, alive. No sooner did I get nearly caught up then
something bad happened. Our apartment was broken into this week, and I
just haven't been up to PGSM or pretty much anything that doesn't
involve freaking out over the fact that strangers were in my home taking
things, and worrying they might return for more.

You know, in case anyone noticed and wondered.

   Anyway...

What bugs me most is that mouth of hers. At least she's half, so it
makes a bit more sense that she has a huge, Western mouth akin to Julia
Roberts. It looks kind of odd on her though, at least in PGSM (she
looks better in other places I've seen her, quite lovely really). Then
again, quite a few of the girls look mildly unattractive compared to how
they look in other sources (Mew in particular).

That aside, I just don't like two-faced characters.

(except for a certain character in Revolutionary Girl Utena ^_^)

Well, the kanji used for Tsukino (and Hino, Mizuno, Kino) isn't the
possessive no (which is written in hiragana), but rather the kanji for
   "field".

And Luna called him Kamekichi. Heh, he deserves it. I agree that no one
could possibly resist Makoto's smile there. Very cute.

I just kept thinking of the Karate Kid while watching them try to catch
   those things.

That was just awful. I stared at that going, "what was the point?" Ugh.

I too thought she was referring to what Mercury felt at that moment as
she used that magic rather than the chopsticks training.

The thing is, that with the exception of certain words that end in 'n',
Japanese words all end with a vowel sound. Notice that Nephrite's name
is usually pronounced "Neprhite-O", Kunzite is pronounced "Kunzite-O",
etc, particularly when the person speaking doesn't have a great grasp of
the fact that it shouldn't have the "o" at the end. The name Artemis
when spelled in katakana would be romanized as ARUTEMISU. It's just
notable (I guess, I haven't had time for the oshikiyo segments yet)
because she's pronoucing it correctly, I guess, while the others are
   forgetting to swallow the "u".
