Act 37 - The Princess Will Cause a Catastrophe!?

Usagi, still unconscious, is laid down on the couch at the secret base
(Wow, that must have been a walk for someone). They observe that she
was a different person when she changed. Usagi wakes up and notices
that her watch had stopped at the moment that Mamoru disappeared
(actually, it must have jumped back about five seconds and then
stopped as it was still running in the last episode).

Rei, usually cold and distant, is the one to reassure Usagi which
Makoto points out to her. Rei dismisses it, but I think she is still
   pleased that she could help.

We finally get a look at where (and what) the DK minions eat in the
Dark Kingdom. Soggy mittens, chicken claws and green eggs? Yummy! You
know, if they would just invest in a few lighting fixtures and get a
decent caterer, I'm sure that it wouldn't be so darn dark and gloomy
there all the time. Are they trying to save money on electricity?

Mio encourages Mamoru to eat (so she is still around), but he wants to
see the generals first. Mio says that they are safe, but one is gone,
dropped off somewhere. Mamoru starts eating. At Metalia's tower, Beryl
wonders what is giving Metalia so much power outside of her own
   efforts.

Usagi wakes at home with a golden glow. She gets out of bed and leaves
the house via the window. Luna wakes up and gives chase but can't find
her. However, she does hear this mysterious harp music.

The next morning, Ikuko-mama comes to wake up Usagi and we see her
dozing in bed face down. It turns out that it is Ami, disguised as
Usagi (odango and all). Suddenly Ikuko returns and Ami and Luna think
they are busted, but Ikuko doesn't catch one (check out Luna's
'surprised' eyes). Ikuko lost her contacts so she can not see clearly.

The scene switches to the studio where Minako and Rei as talking about
Usagi's absence (and we hear a tiny snippet of the helicopter right as
the scene changes). Minako and Rei are interrupted by a stagehand and
they pretend to be practicing the script to give Rei a cover for being
there. Rei says "Kupi" at Minako's prompting (poor Rei ^_^).

Back in Usagi's room, Ami, Luna and Makoto speculate that Usagi had
turned into the princess when she disappeared and that they must
search for this harp music to find her. Ami and Makoto play rock,
paper, scissors to determine who will stay behind and pretend to be
Usagi. Makoto loses and ends up doing a really poor imitation despite
Luna's 'helpful' prompting ("Be more like Usagi-chan"). Ikuko thinks
her eyes are getting even worse because Usagi looks bigger then before
   to her.

The three remaining generals (Nephrite is not there) and Mamoru are
together in the piano room. Zoisite encourages Mamoru to leave, but he
refuses. Mamoru says that he once betrayed them, but he wants it to be
different this time if he can figure out what happened. Kunzite still
resents Mamoru's earlier betrayal. There is a flashback, where we see
Endymion being training in swordplay by Kunzite. Kunzite says that he
will be the sword to aid Endymion. Back in the present, Kunzite said
that he lost everything on that day of destruction and he will
eliminate everyone concerned with that loss. Mio steps in as Kunzite
attempts to kill Mamoru and escorts Mamoru to Metalia's room.

Minako finally reveals to Rei that Metalia's power, wielded by Beryl,
brainwashed the people of Earth into going to war. She says that Beryl
broke into the Moon Temple and on that day, something destroyed the
Earth which also lead to the destruction of the moon as well. Rei (now
in a Nako Nako costume) questions her about the cause, but Minako
doesn't know, saying that perhaps only the Princess and Endymion would
   know that.

Ami continues to search for Usagi, passing by what turns out to be the
human form of Nephrite. Nephrite stands up and gives an evil laugh,
   cursing Beryl's name.

Mamoru and Beryl face off. Beryl tells Mamoru how long she has waited
for this (tens of thousands of years?). Mamoru asks if she is
satisfied now. Beryl says that Mamoru was the top of everything,
power, wealth, happiness, beauty. Mamoru calls it a delusion, that he
is just a normal human. Beryl introduces Mamoru to Metalia, saying
that when her power is complete, they will rule the planet. However,
she is still puzzled as to why Metalia is strengthening despite a lack
   of energy.

Ami hears the harp music and calls everyone to come to her location.
The four senshi and Luna T. gather at a city park where they continue
to hear the music. Suddenly, Metalia's youma appear and everyone
henshins to give battle. The ballet-fu is pretty good this time with
some awesome backflips and cartwheels. For someone suffering from
anemia, Venus is quite athletic. They destroy the youma, but then see
more heading in one particular direction. The youma appear to be
   converging on the Princess.

It must have been a long trip because it is dark by the time they
reach their destination. They destroy the youma and then hear the harp
again. They look up and there is Princess Sailor Moon sitting in a
round opening in the wall with a glowing light behind her. It looks
just like she is somehow sitting on the moon, playing this stringless
harp. Ami calls out to Usagi, but Rei points out that this is the
   princess.

Beryl commands Mamoru to kill the princess saying that her existence
calls forth calamity. Princess Sailor Moon herself admits that she
destroyed the planet. The senshi are shocked.
