|    51 Days of PGSM - Act 38    |

From: phoenix@mediaone.net              Act 38 - Believe Me! I Definitely Won't Destroy the Planet!              This act is mostly a recap episode interspersed with further       revelations. We finally learn exactly how the Earth and Moon are       destroyed. Someone off-screen strikes at Princess Serenity and       Endymion throws himself in front of the princess, taking the blow       himself. All you see from the assailant is a blurred image of an arm       and sword. Perhaps one of the generals? I honestly don't remember so       don't tell me. Endymion dies in Serenity's arms and as she cries his       name in anguish, she instantly destroys both the Moon and the Earth       with a massive surge of energy. This kills her as well and they die       together, hand in hand.              Beryl tells Mamoru that the power of the Princess and Metalia are the       same. If the Princess is not stopped, the planet will once again be       destroyed.              The senshi start to approach the Princess but are commanded to stop.       The Princess vanishes and reappears on a rooftop (still at night)       where she says that no matter how many times they are resurrected, she       can never be together with Endymion. She then vanishes again to appear       in a white room facing Usagi.              Usagi and the Princess converse, just as if they were two completely       different individuals. The Princess repeats that she and Endymion can       never be together. This prompts Usagi to recount the early encounters       she had with Mamoru, the mistaken model incident, the first meeting       with Tuxedo Kamen and so forth.              Mamoru also recounts his meetings with Usagi, him discovering her       senshi identity and their more tender moments together. Back to Usagi,       she recalls their separation, her discovery of his secret identity and       how they reunited.              Intermingled with these recaps from previous episodes, a few things       take place. Nephrite runs into Motoki, knocking groceries out of his       hands and then rails against Motoki, the gathering crowd and a       policeman who showed up to stop him.              Jadeite has recovered his memories and now is not sure to who he       should give his allegiance. Kunzite tells Jadeite that he will resolve       his confusion and storms off to confront Mamoru.              Mamoru restates his promise to Usagi that he will not let the world be       destroyed and turns to face Kunzite who suddenly appeared in front of       him. Mamoru says that Kunzite can have his life, however he needs a       little time. Mamoru challenges Kunzite to a sword fight and says that       if he wins, Kunzite must help him out. He transforms into Endymion and       they engage in what was a pretty poor swordplay choreography. Several       times, either one could have cut down the other easily, but each kept       his swing tight so the sword wouldn't strike the other.              At the same moment, Usagi also recalls her decision to protect the       planet with Mamoru and completes her conversation with the Princess       and reappears on the same rooftop (now midday). Youma appear and she       solemnly transforms into Sailor Moon to give battle.              Both Mamoru and Sailor Moon are battling their respective adversaries.       SM uses MTF to destroy the youma as she thinks back to Mamoru's       promise to her to not let the world be destroyed.              Suddenly an injured Kunzite appears on the rooftop along with Zoisite       and Jaedite. With a flourish of his cloak, Zoisite exposes Endymion       behind them. True to his word, Kunzite is now assisting Endymion.              Endymion draws his sword and at first SM is frightened. But then she       stands strong, looks firmly at Endymion and both of them say together       "I swear it. The planet will not be destroyed".              Will Endymion strike Sailor Moon down? There is no preview, so I don't       know and don't remember what is next.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
