Wow, the end of an age.  The 3 original networks dropped kids from their   
   targeted demographics long ago.  Fox, then WB/CW carried on for a while, but   
   free TV no longer celebrating the joy of childhood is just sad. CW did taper   
   off, showing already    
   rehashed Sonic, original YuGiOH, DBZ and JL Unlimited repeats.  I don't have   
   cable, Saturday morning cartoons do live on there (albeit all 7 days).  Here   
   in the Chicago area, the Bozo show ran its course, ending a wonderful   
   childhood staple.  And    
   somewhat related, David Letterman is leaving the air, another staple since the   
   80s.   
      
   RIP, sweet childhood.
