   After seein "New Hope" a zillion times over the past 30 years, I never   
   thought the troopers' specific mission on Tatooine as being anything more   
   than retrieving C-3PO and R2D2. "New Hope" is what? Over 20 years after   
   "Attack of the Clones?" I'm sure the Lars' are barely a blip, priority wise.   
   Their death was only to fufill the broader mission.
