I haven't read the Prequel Trilogy novels, but just out of interest where
does it give the Jedi's ages so exactly? A quick scan of the Episode I novel
only shows the ages of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon given simply as:

He [Qui-Gon] glanced momentarily at his protege, taking his
measure. Obi-Wan, in his mid-twenties, was more than
thirty years younger and still learning his craft.
