   Anakin wasn't ready to join the Council. He still had things to learn and   
   far too much emotion.   
      
   Anakin's final turn to the Dark Side wasn't really about not joining the   
   Council. It was because he wanted to save Padme and believed Palpatine   
   saying that by becoming a Sith he would be able to do that.
