   The two / three page list of novel titles in the front of most paperbacks   
   is in chronological order within the Star Wars universe (i.e Old Republic   
   first, Prequel Trilogy era, Clone Wars era, Original Trilogy era, and New   
   Republic Era at the end).   
      
   For the Earth release order of the novels, the publishing date is printed   
   on the copyright page in the front of each hard back and paperback novels   
   ... BUT the hardback versions are published before their paperback   
   counterparts, so you often get volumes 2 and 3 of a series published   
   before volume 1 (longer series can often be published in paperback as   
   volumes 2, 3, 1, 5, 6, 4 because volumes 1 and 4 are first published as   
   hardbacks) which makes trying to read them in this order a bit pointless   
   if you're collecting / reading only the paperbacks.   
      
   My hopeless Internet "provider" is having problems and I haven't been able   
   to check on any websites for lists.
