   By all accounts, that's what I heard happend. Han stayed with the   
   Alliance and returned the reward money to them, then got caught up with   
   Rebel affairs and never got around to business.   
      
   I can imagine Han talking about leaving the Alliance every other day in   
   the three years between the films. After all, at the end of A New Hope   
   he was supposedly going to leave, and at the beginning of The Empire   
   Strikes Back he was supposedly planning to leave as soon as the Falcon   
   was running.
