   many of the new SW comics, in fact the last one i read was dark empire   
   2.   
   With the Disney buyout, the Star Wars franchise comic books will   
   reportedly be returning to Marvel once the current Dark Horse contract   
   runs out.   
   i am more into the reference books, though i have begun reading 'darth   
   plagueis'. it is hard to read star wars without having my reference   
   books handy, so that precludes me r4ading them away from home. most of   
   the goings on in the EU i have learned through Wookieepedia or my ref   
   books.   
   There's a new reference book which covers just the novels, but I can't   
   remeber the title of it ... plus, as with all the reference books, it is   
   already out-of-date because new novels are still being released, so you   
   then have to buy the "updated" edition, which is then already   
   out-of-date again ... :-\   
      
   trve, but some of the old ref books are getting to be worth money.
