Controversial critic makes bizarre claim about Revenge of the Sith

Opinions vary wildly in regard to the Star Wars prequel trilogy from the
late '90s and early 2000s, but one controversial art critic has a view
that even the most ardent Star Wars fan would have trouble swallowing.
Art critic Camille Paglia tackles the final installment of the prequel
trilogy in her new book Glittering Images and calls Star Wars: Revenge
of the Sith one of the greatest works of art in recent history.
   Seriously.
She explains her motives in an interview with Vice , and praised the
film for having some of the greatest examples of digital art in the
   modern era:
"The long finale of Revenge of the Sith has more inherent
artistic value, emotional power, and global impact than anything by the
artists you name. It's because the art world has flat-lined and become
an echo chamber of received opinion and toxic over-praise. It's
like the emperor's new clothes -- people are too intimidated to admit
what they secretly think or what they might think with their blinders
   off...
I had considered using Japanese anime for the digital art chapter of the
book, but it lacked the overwhelming operatic power and yes,
seriousness of Lucas's Revenge of the Sith."
Paglia's view is definitely a unique one, and it's quite a bold claim
among fans to say any of the prequels are among the best entries in the
seriesâ€"much less the art world at large.
What do you think? Does Revenge of the Sith deserve to be playing in the
   Guggenheim?
