   No they are not really Luke's Aunt and Uncle, but they are his step-Uncle   
   and step-Aunt. Owen Lars is Anakin Skywalker's step-brother. He is the son   
   of moisture farmer Cliegg Lars from his first wife (who died). Shimi   
   Skywalker married Cliegg after Anakin had gone off to become a Jedi.
