   There is one, and only one, possibility where that can make sense.   
      
   As well as the new Trilogy, Disney has said they plan to release "two to   
   three movies" PER YEAR in a similar way to the Avengers / superhero movies   
   they've been making recently. These would be spin-off movies, so they   
   could be set at any stage in the timeline, meaning Darth Vader could be in   
   them.
