   Not really. They simply created their own set of rules and approval   
   process ... as always, the new management morons make silly, pointless   
   changes to make themselves look important.   
      
   George Lucas / Lucasfilm already had a pretty strict set of rules and   
   approval process in place, so as far as I know there's few real   
   conflicts, except where George Lucas himself later changed what someone   
   else had written, e.g. Boba Fett's origins.   
      
   Problems may come along later though as new stuff is created (for   
   example, Chewie may suddenly no longer be dead).
