   They could be, but witchcraft and magic are not real. They are nothing   
   but tricks performed by entertainment people, fakers, and scam artists.   
   There's always a secret behind how it was done and that secret never   
   involves real magic or witchcraft.

   Basically it was doing something other people didn't like. The various   
   Witch Trials were basically just an excuse for one person, either on   
   purpose or via superstitious stupidity, to cause trouble for (and often   
   murder) another person they didn't like.   
      
   Real "witchcraft" is really just a case of home-made natural medical   
   and chemical concoctions.
