|    Star Wars: Episode XVIII 'The Kabray Cov    |

From: noahidebooksforever@gmail.com              Star Wars: Episode XVIII 'The Kabray Covenant' Part One       The girlfriend of Mark Lightkeeper, Beth Stormwarden of the Illuviar sneaks       into her father's room, unawares.       Her father, Lucas Stormwarden, begins and AV communication. Darth Grimstar's       face comes on the screen.       'Stormwarden. Long time no see,' says Darth Grimstar.       'What do you wan?' asks Lucas Stormwarden. 'The Sith and the Jedi have never       been on hospitable relations.'       'There was a time, once. Long ago. When Jedi and Sith fought together.'       'Those are days gone by,' said Lucas. 'Your sham of representation in the       Senat fools nobody. You may masquerade as a redeemer, but all will soon see       you for what you are.'       'We are wise men,' replied Darth Grimstar. 'And both us see the failings in       our order of those who have gone before us. We know something of the Illuviar.       You are far from impressed with the trappings of Jedi Society. They are weak.       Like those of the        Sith before us. Pathetic. We can do much better.'       'What are you driving at?' asked Lucas.       'An agreement. A pact. A – Covenant. Between the Illuviar and the Obsidian       Order.'       'We would never agree to such a thing,' said Lucas. 'It is preposterous to       even think so.'       'But, my friend. It is a covenant with a mission. We serve, in the end, ideal.       The Jedi have the way of the Light side of the Force, but expect a pure light.       The Sith mirror that with the Dark Side. So many of those in our worlds       confuse these realities.        Rae Skywalker – or should I say, Palpatine, is a prime example of such       hypocrisy. We can do better than this. I propose our orders meet. At an old       place before the Empire was in vogue, where much of the affairs of the galaxy       were discussed. Kabray. And        at Kabray we form a covenant. A covenant to oust those gone before us and       become the new light and dark of the galaxy.'       Lucas Stormwarden glared at his old Padawan. 'You were a fool when I trained       you, and you are a fool now. We could never resolve such an agreement.'       'Oh, but I think we can master Stormwarden. I think we can.'       Lucas glared at the screen. 'Communicate with me again. In a few days. I will       think the matter over.'       'It will be – the final solution,' said Grimstar. 'To replace the old       fossils which trouble us and bring in the new order of things. It is –       inevitable.'       Lucas Stormwarden flicked of the AV Machine, and stared for a moment at the       curtains, but Beth Stormwarden was now gone, and her father sat there, lost in       his thoughts.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
