   Ah...the latest news on Tonya...   
      
   Tonya competes, loses, makes excuses, and blames the competition for being   
   unfair, implying that, at best, her opponent's victory is hollow, and the   
   only glory to be derived from it was from being able to say one had   
   competed against, well, Tonya.   
      
   Tonya's few fans accuse event organizers of having ripped her off.   
      
   Tonya gets a goofy offer to fight someone.   
      
   Tonya pulls out of a competition and makes excuses as to why. One of them   
   has to do with a telephoned death threat. Her few fans, of course, believe   
   every word of it.   
      
   Tonya engages in sleazy forms of publicity.   
      
   Her fans whine about how she was stripped of her chance for a skating   
   career, when she could have put it all back together at tha pro   
   competition in Huntington years ago and, well, just didn't bother to   
   deliver.   
      
   And she continues to draw support from bizarre sycophants of all varieties   
   around the world, to whom, for some quirky reason, she still appeals. Then   
   again, a lot of people can't resist rubbernecking at traffic accidents   
   either.   
      
   Oh, and let's not forget how her last pathetic hangers-on continue to use   
   any examples they find of Olympic incompetency/corruption (of which,   
   sadly, there are many) in a pathetic attempt to exonerate her and excuse   
   her wrongdoings.   
      
   So...anything NEW going on with her?   
      
   And please, don't let it be that she's finally found THE man for her and   
   is planning to marry him soon, because he is IT and the one she will stick   
   with for the rest of her life. That doesn't count as news.
