   As far as the figure skating subplot goes in the Red Dawn   
   althistory, there are quite a few skates whose biographies   
   get changed to fit the timeline.   
      
   What happens in the alternate timeline is that one well   
   known preacher, and many of his 14 children, got into   
   trouble for shooting off their mouths when they call the   
   Soviet attack on the USA "Gods punishment".   
      
   Many of them while on the run, flee to Communist   
   Mexico, Communist Cuba, and Commie countries   
   in Latin America, as well as in the rump USSR,   
   where their offspring become  champion skaters,   
   primarily for Russia, but also for Communist   
   Mexico and Communist Cuba.   
      
   I would like to know WHERE they get the idea,   
   for example that Rachael Flatt was born in   
   1992 instead of 1991. This alternate timeline,   
   with a changed biography for Rachael, also   
   has Rachael born in Puerto Nuevo, but I   
   would like to know WHERE they get the   
   idea she was born in 1992. She was born   
   on July 21, 1991, NOT July 21, 1992.   
      
   Another one which I would like to know where   
   they get their DOB information from is Cristina   
   Gao. They have her birthpace in Cuba, same   
   as in real life, but they make her year of birth   
   1994 instead of 1992. She was born in 1992,   
   contrary to what the Red Dawn fanfic writers   
   think. She was born January 7, 1992. Where   
   some people get the idea she was born in   
   1994 is beyond me.
