   While the age of consent in Canada is 14, it is a felony to write a   
   book in which a character in that book who is actually over 18   
   pretends to be under 18 while having sex. Talk about thought police!   
   Meanwhile there are plenty of 14 year old prostitutes of either sex   
   working the streets more or less undisturbed.
