   I thought they did! I'm glad to hear that I'm right.   
      
   I got back from watching the first Hobbit movie less than an hour ago. I   
   rather enjoyed it, mostly, I think, because they made so many changes I can   
   divorce it more easily from the book. And so far pretty much all the changes I   
   have found acceptable and    
   reasonable for adapting The Hobbit.   
      
   Although, I liked The Fellowship of the Ring fairly well before I saw The Two   
   Towers, so The Hobbit movies still have 2 years to disappoint me!
