I'm not actually sure there is any problem. Aragorn is not assumed to have   
   used the ring, is just being overconfident and ignorant of Mordor's strength.   
   He is reluctant to use it for the same unfathomable reason the others that   
   have been exposed to it    
   have not used it yet, perhaps some cowardice or lack of ambition. Anyway due   
   to his overconfidence he is now trapped at Morannon and will not escape. He   
   has already shown himself foolhardy by appearing in the palantir. Time should   
   not be wasted in    
   crushing him before he decides to use the ring.
