   It has been nearly 17 years since I read this post and discovered the rich   
   world which you created. I have played many characters, lead multiple guilds,   
   "immorted" to help code, sat on the Mortal Council, and met some of my oldest   
   friends thanks to this    
   post.   
      
   When I read this post, I had bet dating a girl for less than 3 weeks. We are   
   married now and have 2 children. I was in college and poor. Now I own my own   
   home and am comfortably affluent.   
      
   While my life has marched on, T2T has kept the time. When my first child was   
   born, that was when the Meglivornth was disbanded. On my honeymoon, I was the   
   Armourer of the Barak Khazad-Dum. Senior year in college, I fought alongside   
   the Corsairs of Umbar.    
   While I was unemployed after college, we waged war against the Fellowship of   
   the Rimbor Anim.    
      
   The events in my world and those in our rendering of Tolkien's have not been   
   mere distractions from each other.  T2T is a part of my life. And, I hope,   
   always will be.
