   Aragorn fought with the Rohan some 40 years earlier. I agree that   
   Boromir knowledge about current affairs is more recent, but not the   
   knowledge about whether Rohan would pay tribute with horses. I don't   
   find it likely that Aragorn would have forgotten than in the interrim or   
   assumed that it had changed.
