   Well, I will admit that this transcript is fairly persuasive, but I still   
   maintain that LotR's wording is equally supportive of my "wings of shadow"   
   theory; shadow wings don't have to be substantial. Thinking about it and being   
   serious, I don't think    
   that the Balrog has to have them all the time or that every Balrog has wings,   
   but in the scene in LotR I think it does.
