   Fair enough, but I don't think that solves it very neatly. I mean,   
   "Sauron" is a derogatory name, which is why he did not want anyone to   
   use it, right?   
      
   So, following the above reasoning, one can assume that he may allow it   
   to be used in communication with parts of Middle Earth that know him by   
   no other name.   
      
   But for his premier lieutenant to have this as part of his title? Sounds   
   a bit unlikely, doesn't it?
