   People who haven't read the book are going to be rather shocked when   
   Smaug dies 5 minutes in.   
      
   I was surprised they went as far with Smaug in this film, I expected them   
   to end it about where Bilbo meets him, but then I thought the assault on   
   Dol Wassits would be in this film.
