   Zaentz also cheated Peter S. Beagle out of getting a decent share of   
   the profits from the Bakshi movie, for which Peter wrote multiple drafts   
   of the screenplay.  Zaentz eventually received nearly $200 million from   
   the Tolkien rights for the Jackson films alone; Mr. Beagle has received   
   only $5000 and a lot of broken promises from Zaentz.  Gollum's epithet   
   for Bilbo would make a fitting epitaph for Zaentz.
