   He never referenced the film - you did.   
   He never put his phrase in quotes - you did.   
   He stated that regardless of a source (if any) that it was still a fact.   
   And yes - I can accept that in Tolkiens combined works that men being (more)   
   easily corrupted is a given. (I always accepted that as a fact.)   
   I mean if the Hign Men of Numenor could be easily corrupted, how do the rest   
   really fare?
