If all you've gotten out of this is the assumption that I dislike Woody Allen,
you're very much mistaken. My personal list of brilliant Allen movies goes like
this: Love & Death, Manhattan, Hannah & Her Sisters, Zelig, Sleeper, Everybody
Says I Love You, Sweet & Lowdown, Annie Hall, and the short he did in New York
Stories. I could plausibly argue for the inclusion of about half-a-dozen more,
and if you asked me to list my favourite ones a month from now there's an
excellent chance that some (or all) of them would change. I also suspect that
   he
still has one really fantastic movie still left in him. (God only knows what
   you
mean by "distrust" - do you think that I was worried about lending him some
   money?)

Good luck on your continuing efforts to critically evaluate movies without the
horrifying stigma of actually having to read anything. After all, we wouldn't
want your opinions to be influenced by anything other than ignorance, now would
   we?
