From: strwbery_fields@webtv.net              I think what turns me off most about Danny Rose is the Jewish/Italian       mixture treading into areas Woody doesn't know. He does self-depricating       Jewish humour well, I love the big glasses, but I didn't appreciate the       mob subplot. He, and Mia show they can do different characters. I didn't       buy it as Woody though. The film strikes me as disingenous. WA movies       need Jazz, what's with the meatball music. The ending is ok, but nothing       special. Very good photography, but that's usually a given. It's a good       film, but I think his most overrated next to Purple Rose, and Another       Woman. I give him credit for trying new things in the 80s.              His most underrated to me is "Celebrity".              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
