   Well   
   i did have a TV about 15 years ago or so...   
   then signed up for cable   
   and got hooked...   
   but they kept raising the price and one day i just decided to get rid of the   
   cable and the TV.   
      
   I have never missed it. Of course the radio, the computer and the newspapers   
   keep us pretty well informed...   
      
   As for watching movies...It is only rarely that I ever see the same movie   
   twice...   
   although...for sure...many of them are worth seeing again.   
      
   Where i live there is a *wonderful* old fashioned movie theatre...   
   built in 1927 and within walking distance of my house.   
   Even though it was modified slightly to add two more smaller rooms...   
   nothing of it's original beauty was destroyed:
