So, it's very contradictory to tell a thing ("taste is subjective") and to
claim that this thing is objective. It's impossible.

And you opinion is also subjective and it's not very exact as opinion. So
the taste is maybe not subjective.

In fact, you make a confusion (in philosophy) with the pleasant and the
Beautiful (in aesthetic field). (Sorry, I don't know the words in english
or if it's not the exact words). The taste in aesthetic is not the pleasant
and it's not like the simple taste as a personn would like a cake. Like a
cake or not (or a man or a woman), it's subjective and private. Like a
   movie, it's not only subjective.

The Beautiful is other thing that the pleasant. It will be difficult of to
put on the same plan Mrs Bovary of Flaubert and a poor sentimental novel
which tells the same history. It is however what you do.
