|    Match Point - Review    |

From: david_shayne@hotmail.com              Hi folks,              Just to let you know that I finally saw Match Point yesterday.       Disappointment. I mean...yeah, we have been used to see disapointing WA       movies in the 6-7 years, pure flops, so we can look at that one and just       admire that there is a story, it is well-developped, well-filmed, that       London gives a new freshness...but...but...hey- wait a minute !              For me, it is just a rehash of Crimes and Misdemeanors with younger people       in London with few exceptions. C&M was richer though...especially with all       the religious issues, justice on earth, etc. Match Point deals more about       luck in life in general. The only difference is the fact that the man kills       himself instead of asking his brother to do it !!!! When we see Scarlett in       crisis, this leads immediately to Angelica Houston.              For sure, 99% of the people who will see the movie have not seen or just       forgot C&M will just like the movie. But for me, Woody has just done the       same movie once again...like he often does.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
