   I saw Scoop yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.  I was expecting some   
   more of Woody's distracting whining that ruined Manhattan Murder Mystery for   
   me, but found him genuinely funny and reminiscent of Broadway Danny Rose,   
   with Scarlette Johansson acting the perfect dim-bulb foil for his barbs.   
      
   I was predisposed to be bored and upset by the yet again use of a magician   
   as a plot vehicle, but that was also funny, well done, and entertaining.   
      
   All in all it was well written, well acted, and well directed.   
      
   By the way, did anyone else think Scarlett Johansson looked pregnant?  I   
   know she tends to be a little chunky, but she looked more so than usual in   
   some of the scenes.
