   I forgot to respond to this part.   
      
   I love Christina Ricci as an actress ever since the Ice Storm, and   
   especially in The Opposite of Sex and Bufallo 66. She continues to do   
   great work in Pecker and Pumpkin. But I had two problems with her in   
   Anything Else. I found a lot of her dialogue just didn't sound natural.   
   It was like a badly written theater play. Also, her personality was too   
   nasty. Too much misogyny went into her character, I felt. Surely Woody,   
   who has created such rich women characters in the past could have gone   
   beyond the one-dimensional role he gave Ricci here. Well, she was sexy   
   and funny in her manipulations, but it was the weakest I've ever seen   
   her in a movie.
