Being a huge Simon and Garfunkel/Paul Simon solo fan, I'd like to add
them to that list, especially as they are New Yorkers. Also, Paul Simon
was in Annie Hall playing a sleazy producer of sterile, uninspiring
records. Obviously this could not be further from the truth when
describing Paul Simon, who has written some of the most memorable and
profund lyrics and songs ever. I have always wondered what Allen thought
   of Paul Simon's music.
