   Baccy O, old Jack-tars used to get issued with it and they used to roll it   
   into a rum soaked cloth or chamois leather to store it and cut off a plug   
   for either chewing (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew) or rub it tween their fingers to   
   loosen the strands and stick it in their pipes and smoke it!  Do you still
